Our Story
Bossa Bordeaux - DC Jazz Duo
Denis and Stanley have been performing as a jazz duo since 2009. Their collaboration blossomed at a DC French bistro called Terasol, where the jazz duo were resident musicians providing live jazz to patrons enjoying fine dining.
Bossa Bordeaux is a versatile duo of guitar/vocals and clarinet/sax with an acoustic jazz sound, influenced by the flavors of Brazilian music, French Gypsy jazz, and American jazz standards. They perform regularly at local restaurants, breweries, vineyards, as well as at weddings and celebrations. Their music has been heard on radio stations including WAMU. They share a love of fine music, fine wine, and would enjoy bringing a classic ambiance to your venue or event.
